returns

We have put a lot of care into developing and crafting Buddhika offerings. However, we understand that sometimes things don’t go to plan and we want you to enjoy the items you choose, so we provide the Returns Program below.

Please be aware that we only hold a small amount of stock at any given time – For sustainability purposes (to manage our use of resources) and because we are a small family business. This means some styles may not be in stock in your chosen size.

SALE ITEMS EXCLUDED FROM RETURNS PROGRAM

All sales are final. This means that items purchased on sale cannot be returned under our Returns Program.

·       Customers are responsible for postage costs incurred when returning an item to us. We will pay the postage cost of sending the new item to the customer. (The customer however is responsible for paying postage costs related to any further exchanges based on this transaction. This means that if you ask to exchange an item you obtained from a previous exchange, you will need to pay postage costs before we will send any further items).

·       We reserve the right to refuse to exchange any item that we deem not to be in Saleable Condition, that is returned later than seven (7) days for Australian customers or fourteen (14) days for international customers starting on the date on which the item was delivered, or for which we did not receive a completed Returns Form.

·       International customers are responsible for paying any customs, import or related duties or fees.

FAULTY ITEMS AND YOUR AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW RIGHTS (“FAULTY ITEMS”)

We do our absolute best to provide beautiful quality offerings. However, in the rare event that you have received an item that is faulty or that is not the item that you ordered, please contact us immediately at hola@buddhikas.com. In your email, please explain the issue (including photos will help) and tell us whether you would like a refund or exchange.

If the item appears to be faulty, we will ask you to post it back to us. Keep your receipt safe. Where we agree that the item is a Faulty Item, we will refund reasonable postage costs incurred in returning the item to us, so long as you email us a copy of your postage receipt, showing the amount paid. If you would like to exchange the item for another, we will cover the cost of sending the new item to you.

Please note

·       Fair wear and tear is not a fault and we cannot provide refund or exchange for this reason.

·       Further, we cannot provide a refund or exchange on the basis of imperfections in design where those imperfections were brought to your attention (for example through written or photographic description on our website) prior to you purchasing the item.

·       Block printing is done by hand and is not an machine-based printing method. Some imperfections can result from that fact and these are considered part of the unique, human, personalised nature of this traditional method of printing. Imperfections in block printed fabric do not make any item a Faulty Item.

·       Our items are crafted with care either in a small fair trade workshop or made by us personally. In either case, we do not mass produce and items are made in small batches. With the exception of some t-shirts, all items are cut by hand. The handmade nature of items is what we love and value about our offerings – these are not considered to be imperfections.
