Artisanal Baby Bloomers

Our sweet little organic cotton baby bloomers are available in a range of beautiful artisanal fabrics. We make them in Australia using organic fabrics featured from our collection, samples of new fabrics or other special fabrics we find and love. Available only in very small quantities, these are unique little pieces of wearable art + culture.

Turmeric Mala (mustard) fabric – Features a traditional Kalamkari design printed by hand with wooden blocks in a colourway designed by, and exclusive to, us. Child safe, AZO free, non toxic dyes.

Mindful Rhythms (headphones) fabric – Exclusive fabric handsketched by Buddhika, carved onto a wooden block by artisans in India and then printed by hand. Child safe, AZO free, non toxic dye.

Lotus Nelum (pink/white) fabric – Exclusive fabric featuring lotus buds, handsketched by Buddhika, carved onto three wooden blocks (one for each colour) by artisans in India and printed by hand. Child safe, AZO free, non toxic dyes.

Dusky orange fabric – naturally dyed using ayurvedic ingredients in India.

Care: All bloomers can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle using a mild detergent with the exception of the Dusty Orange bloomers as they are natural dyed and must be hand washed. Do not scrub. Line dry in shade.

* Please be aware that:
-block printing does contain what some might consider ‘imperfections’. These are not faults, but sign of the human process by which the fabric was printed. We believe these slight differences give our items character and evidence the wonderfully human element present during their making; and

– natural dyes normally fade somewhat over time with wear, wash and use – just as nature itself changes.
